Palanca Y Cambio

Entertainment in the Costa Blanca and Spain 14/08/08 At the Beerhouse in Gran Alacant, with a slow start from this band with Princes purple rain I thought I was in for a long night but the second song Chasing Cars had me more optimistic about Palanca.

The lead singer was really good at involving the crowd but did not think his voice was acceptable for the U2 numbers. After mostly every song he would get everyone to participate and sing along, great stuff! I have to say what really made the group was the Sax player although you don’t hear a sax in every breath you take by the police he made it sound impressive.

The best part of this act has to be the last track Floyds Brick in the wall, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up after hearing the drummers passionate solo. Thumbs up! great bit of Entertainment in the Costa Blanca.
