Jim is a virtuoso guitarist. I use this term sparingly but certainly applies to Jim.
His solos are inventive, reflective and always appropriate. I hear Jim as the consummate accompanist. Never in the way and always supportive. When I have been on a gig with Jim the other players automatically bring their playing up a notch.
- Phillip Sanborn, Music Department Chair, Tabor Academy, Marion, MA
“As a visiting artist and role model Jim’s music contributed greatly to the success of our event. The students benefited from hearing and playing with him”.
- Dr. Stephanie S. Sullivan- Assistant vice president for Student Affairs Berklee College of Music
